CHARLESTN — Wednesday will be the last day of work for dozens of people at BrickStreet Insurance. Brickstreet is one of the state’s providers of workers’ compensation insurance. The company announced last month that it would need to cut fifty jobs. As a result several workers who are close to retirement age as well as younger employees who might go back to school have decided to take a severance option. The options included a year’s salary or nine months’ salary with six months of insurance coverage.
